Trust the CERN Root Certificate with Google Chrome

On managed Windows machines in the CERN domain, Google Chrome should be able to verify correctly CERN certificates without any extra configuration, because Chrome uses the Windows certificate store.

On Windows machines outside the CERN domain (home PCs, external laptops, etc...) and on other operating systems, the certificates of the CERN root and trusted certification authorities are not trusted by default, so CERN Certificates will not be verified correctly.
On these machines, it will be necessary to install the CERN Root Certificates to trust the CERN Certification Authority.
